The ALS Society of BC has contracted the services of Johanne Mattie, a rehabilitation engineer from the Neil Squire Society to interview people with ALS and their caregivers to find ways to improve the support they are getting from assistive technology. This work will help the ALS Society of BC better understand the equipment needs of people with ALS and work towards finding solutions that meet those needs.
So far the interviews have been very succesful and yielded lots of good ideas. Johanne is currently looking for more people to participate in interviews. Interviews are typically 60 minutes long, however this is flexible. Johanne is able to come to your home, at your convenience.
