And it isn't all just flat!
As I was looking back in time
The year being 2000 for me
Couldn’t help remembering all the people
Yes! ALS has brought some misery
Can’t be denied when all is said and done
But as we battle with all the heartache
So many help, to put the blues on the run
There is Gloria, Lorraine and Kenneth
That’s just to name a few
There are so many others that help
I’d name them all!
But just don’t have the time or room
We don’t always let them know we see
The hard work and hours they go through
But believe me when I think of them
It helps push away thoughts of blue
It seems as we travel through life
We met special people every day
And every moment we battle ALS
They are there to help smoothen the way
If you see me walking down the street
And you notice a smile suddenly appear
I’m just thinking about some special people
That helped us make it through another year
So to Gloria, Lorraine and Kenneth
And all the others I couldn’t name
I’d like to let all know you are special
Without you! "Life just wouldn’t be the same"
Thank you from the bottom of my heart
And no doubt I speak for many others
You are a precious group

The ALS Society is in the process of taking an inventory of all its books and videos.
If you have any books or video tapes belonging to the ALS Society, please return them to the ALS Office at your earliest convenience so that we will have a more accurate inventory.

Support Group Meetings
All Support Group Meetings are held at Wascana Rehab Center, 2180 23rd Avenue, and they start at 1:00 P.M., the third Saturday of each Month.
The Board Meetings are held also at the Wascana Rehab Center, 2180 23rd Avenue, but begin at 7:00 P.M.
Any changes will be found here as they occur.
