Toto Washlets

This is the product that was recommended by one of my readers and I felt that it was worthwhile passing on to you.. In order to find a Canadian distributor you will have to Google Toto Washlets Canada. This is the message I received:

Dear George,

My ALS diagnosis came in July but for months before I was having problems cleaning myself after using the toilet. I have found the most amazing product and want to pass the info on to PALS with limited hand use.

Because it is a product and store name I didn't think it wise to promote it without contacting you privately.

It is made in Japan by a company named Toto and it is called a Washlet. Star Bath in Barrie is a wholesaler and Rick is very helpful. A person can even go and try it out in their staff bathroom. It is a special toilet seat which fits on any toilet, connects to the water and plugs in to an outlet.
There is a remote control that I can even operate with my nose. It washes you front and/or back with jets of warm water and then actually blows you dry. A totally hands free toileting system!!!!!!

Toto has a web site where you can get all the info. There are 3 or 4 different models and prices from about $1000.00 Canadian.

I love it and I love the independence of toileting myself and keeping a bit more of my dignity.
